The Mid America Regional Lily Society was formed in the spring of 1982. Our purpose is to promote public interest in the growing of lilies and to exchange experiences in the growing of lilies among our membership. Keeping members acquainted with developments in lily breeding and offering solutions to issues that may occur with the culture of lilies.
Mid-Atlantic Lily Society, Sponsorship of Welcome Reception at Sheraton Westport Chalet on Wednesday, June 28.
Potomac Lily Society, aka PLS, is an organization committed to furthering the appreciation of true bulb lilies of the genus Lilium. The Potomac Lily Society was started during the 1950's and still boasts one charter member among its active members. In a typical year they sponsor a lily show, host a spring luncheon and an autumn picnic, publish a quarterly newsletter and conduct a bulb sale.
North Star Lily Society, Sponsorship of education about Lilies.
The North Star Lily Society's purpose is to educate our members in the culture of lilies and to promote the genus lilium. Our online mission is to share our knowledge of growing the genus lilium in the upper Midwest area of the United States, specifically in the State of Minnesota. Native species lilies and lilies hybridized in Minnesota are of particular interest.
